Thank you for visiting the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth, Ohio. We are a family owned firm with eighty nine years of service to the people of beautiful southern Ohio.
On July 4, 2009, we instituted a new service honoring the brave men and women of our nation who have selflessly served our country both in war and peace time. During visitation and on the day of the funeral service, we now fly the flag of the branch of service in which a deceased veteran has served.
Our unofficial motto is "There is no right or wrong way to hold a funeral service, just the way that is right for you and your family". We pride ourselves in helping families create personal and meaningful tributes.
Our website allows you to send online tributes to families in the event you can not personally attend services. Also, you can elect to receive e-mail updates whenever a new obituary is posted to the site so that you may stay updated on deaths in the greater Portsmouth area.
