We are proud to announce that on March 5, 2011, our vice president, Dawn Scott Little, CFSP, was named "Funeral Service Partner of the Year 2010" by Lifeline of Ohio at the ninth annual "An Evening with the Stars" event in Columbus, Ohio. This award is given to a member of the funeral services community who has demonstrated professional excellence in support of organ and tissue donation.

Lifeline of Ohio is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and coordinate the donation of human organs and tissue for transplantation. They are the designated organ procurement organization serving 37 counties in Central and Southeastern Ohio, and Hancock and Wood counties in West Virginia.

In addition to being a strong advocate for organ and tissue donation, Dawn is a certified Eye Enucleator for the Central Ohio Lions Eye Bank. Eye enucleation is the procurement of the human eye for, among other important missions, cornea transplantation.
