Judith Darleen (Williams) Pruitt

Judith Darleen Pruitt, 62, of New Boston, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born Aug. 4, 1954 in Salisbury, MD, a daughter of Edith Virginia Lane Williams of Salisbury and the late Henry Crawford Williams, Sr.
   Judy was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in New Boston where her husband, Howard, is pastor. She had worked in many capacities for the churches they have served assisting his ministry.
   Surviving is her beloved husband of 44 years, Rev. Howard Raymond Pruitt, whom she married Feb. 10, 1973 in Salisbury; two children, Christopher (Carissa) Pruitt of Omaha, NE, Stephanie Pruitt of New Boston; three brothers, Henry C. “Sonny” (Linda) Williams, Jr, Gary Lyn Williams and Jeffery Lee (Shyrel) Williams, all of Salisbury; two granddaughters, Peyten Elizabeth and Paige Ivylynne Pruitt; and many loving nieces, nephews and their families.
   In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by an infant sister and several aunts and uncles.
   A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Brent McMasters officiating.
