Richard Earnest Rose

   Richard Earnest Rose, 62, of  Portsmouth, passed away Friday June 2, 2017 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital in Columbus, following a bicycling accident. Rick was born in Jamestown, Ohio  Sept. 19, 1954, a son of Orlyn Earnest and Esther Aileen Spurlock Rose of Xenia. He was preceded in death on Oct. 28, 2015 by his wife Grace Lynn Cook Rose, whom he married in Waverly.  

   He is survived by two sons; Rocky Allen Rose and Charlie Luke Rose at home and one daughter, Amy Marie Rose at home; two sisters, Alice Jean (Greg) Hammer of Xenia and Kathy (Ray) Naylor of Beavercreek and his sister-in-law, Sally Jane Cook of Sciotoville.
