Donald Ray Stevens

   Donald Ray Stevens, 73, of Portsmouth, died at his home on March 18, 2024. He was born on May 29, 1950, in Portsmouth, a son of the late Frederick Ferdinand ‘Babe’ and Violet Rosaline Ball Stevens, Sr.

   Don was a 1970 graduate of Portsmouth West High School and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints. He retired after working for 17 years at Techneglas in Columbus.

 Surviving him are two children, Donald R. Stevens, Jr., and Lisa Renee Stevens, both of Columbus; a brother, Fred Stevens Jr. of Reynoldsburg; several nieces, nephews and their families; and his church family.

   In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four brothers, Jerry, Johnny, Mike and Danny Stevens.

   Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Bishop Eric Walsh presiding. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park.

   There will be a visitation from noon until the funeral hour.
