Hello: My name is Phyllis Jane "Burgess" Lawson. I graduated in 1952 in the same class as Byrle. Sorry to hear of his passing. He was a very nice person. Still doesn't seem real that he is gone, here on earth, but for those who knew him, he will live on in our hearts and memories. Byrle and Anna were the first ones to welcome me to the Old Methodist Church and we stayed friends from that day on. Each time I am at Cornerstone, I just expect them to walk through the door. They always had a smile on their face and always thinking of others, no matter how much pain they were in themselves. At least now he is not having to suffer. Prayers and love go out to you all, especially your precious Mom. If there is anything I can do, please don't hesitate to let me know. God bless and keep you during this most difficult time.
