Constance Lee "Connie" (Dissinger) Eastwood

   Constance Lee “Connie” Eastwood, 73, of McDermott, a former Portsmouth resident, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 at Rest Haven Nursing Home. She was born August 5, 1945 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Martin George and Lillian Juliette Taylor Dissinger.

   Connie was a 1963 Portsmouth High School graduate and a member of the former Order of Eastern Star Chapter 424.  She worked as a nurse tech at the former Mercy Hospital and she retired from Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus.

   Surviving are two siblings, Michael (Ann) Dissinger of Stout and Joyce Rose Dissinger of Portsmouth.

   She was preceded in death by her former husband, Robert Eastwood, Jr.; a sister, Cynthia Jane Cattell; a niece, Dana Cattell; and a great-great-nephew, Ricky Grooms.

   Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Rev. Greg Carter officiating and interment in Friendship Cemetery.

   Visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service.
