Sorry to hear about Bud. He was the best boss I have ever had. He was like a second Dad to me and he never gave up on me even after I messed up big. I will miss him and the world will be a lesser place without him.

I never had the honor of meeting Curtis "Bud" Diles, Jr.; however, from all I've read on his daughter's facebook and from the other condolences I gather he was a very upstanding, loyal, and patriotic person with a great love of his family. I am so sorry for your loss and I pray for the Lord to provide comfort for his family and friends.

My condolences to your entire family on the passing of Mr. Diles.  I am an American born Serbian and am very grateful for his service during WWII and overwhelmed with emotion for his dedication to the Serbian people.  I have read the book Forgotten 500 and now my 10-year-old daughter is reading it.

May God comfort your entire family as you grieve.  May God grant Mr. Curtis "Bud" Diles, Jr. eternal life in His kingdom of Heaven.  Vjecnaja pamjat...May his memory be eternal!

Please accept my condolences on the passing of your father.  He was a great man and a great American.  I am grateful for his support of the Serbian people at a time when the rest of the world stood against them - he went against the grain and this will not be forgotten in our community.  May God bless his family and give them strength during this difficult time.  May his memory be eternal.

Please accept my sympathies on the loss of this man, who by all accounts was good, kind and proud. As an American Serbian, I appreciate his service to the US Air Force and his undying loyalty to those Serbians who rescued and save him. God grant him eternal peace.
