Harla Rae Hacker, 56, of Portsmouth, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Concord Health & Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg. She was born May 17, 1961 in Portsmouth, to Raymond Glen Hacker and Martena Terry Hacker Lauro.
Harla was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a 1983 graduate of Happy Hearts School. She attended Star Workshop and formerly worked in food service for Captain D’s, Fazoli’s and Sodexo.
Harla is survived by her parents, Tony and Martena Terry Hacker Lauro of Portsmouth; a sister, Rachel (Joe) Fleshman of West Union; and two stepsisters, Linda (Jeff) Cottle of Portsmouth and Jennie (Leroy) Kegley of Wheelersburg.
She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Glen Hacker; a nephew, Trevor Enz; and a stepbrother, William Francis Lauro.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Rev. Ryan Brown officiating and interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to services Friday.
