Karin Carlson Djelmis

   Karin Carlson Djelmis, 54, of Hilliard, passed away unexpectedly in Orlando, FL on December 30, 2017. She was born July 3, 1963 in Cumberland, MD to Barry and Jean (Richey) Carlson of Portsmouth, who survive.

   Karin was a 1981 Portsmouth High School graduate and a 1986 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy. She worked for over 25 years at Express Scripts in Columbus as a pharmacist.

   In addition to her parents, surviving is her husband of 21 years, Dr. Zoltan Djelmis; two sons, Ian Whitt of Columbus and Daniel Djelmis, at home; her brother, Bradley Carlson of Forty-Fort, PA; two sisters, Kristin Carlson (Todd Kinskey) of Cincinnati and Dr. Elizabeth Carlson (Michael Gerwe) of Appleton, WI. Also surviving Karin is her mother-in-law, Teresa Djelmis of Subotica, Serbia; a sister-in-law, Agnes Bedrosian of Columbus; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

   Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard with Rev. Tom Gardner officiating. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Columbus.

   The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour at the Tidd Funeral Home
