Mona Priscilla Washington

     Mona Priscilla Washington, 61, of Portsmouth, passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 at the SOMC Hospice Center. She was born in Portsmouth Sept. 27, 1955, a daughter of the late Emmett and Kathleen Craddolph Washington. Mona was a Christian, attended Portsmouth city schools and had retired from USEC in the maintenance department.

   She is survived by two sons, Ryan Nathan Washington and Clifton  Lee (Laura)  Kennedy, all of Portsmouth; three brothers, Brenton (Connie) Austin of Canal Winchester, William Joe Austin of Clermont, FL, and Rich (Kim) Washington of Pickerington; one sister, Maude Lee of Canal Winchester; three grandchildren, Haley (Craig) McLaughlin, Maegan (Wes) Scherer, and Coltin Kennedy; three great-grandchildren, Jaymes Scherer, Luke McLaughlin and Avery Scherer.

   Mona was also preceded in death by her brother, David Austin; and sister, Saundra Cooper. 

   Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Rev. Vincent Kennedy Jr., officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
