Nancy Jo (Ruby) Horsley

   Nancy Jo Ruby Horsley, 79, of Portsmouth, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the SOMC Hospice Center. She was born August 23, 1938 in Portsmouth a daughter of Lena V. Turner Ruby of Rubyville and the late Myrl Charles Ruby.

   Nancy was a retired U.S. Postal Service Manager based in Columbus and a 1956 Clay High School graduate. She attended Carey’s Run Church of Christ and was a former member of the Rosemount Homemakers Club.

   In addition to her mother Lena, she is survived by her daughter, Lisa M. (Paul) Giacobbe of Dayton; a sister, Cathy Jungenberg of Oshkosh, WI; two granddaughters, Alexandra and Olivia Giacobbe: a niece, Beth, nephew, Greg, and their families.

   Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth with James Osborne officiating and interment in Greenlawn Cemetery.

   The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to services Tuesday.
