Danny Hall Daniels, 67, of Portsmouth, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026, at the SOMC Hospice Center. He was born on August 30, 1958, in Portsmouth, a son of the late Ulysses S. Grant “Bus” Daniels and Mildred Josephine Ferguson Daniels.
Danny was a 1977 graduate of Northwest High School, and he enjoyed Sci-Fi and watching anything concerning Bigfoot. He also enjoyed kayaking on the Ohio River, fishing and playing games on his iPad. He had worked as a truck driver and deliveryman for the former Pauley Plumbing.
Surviving are his children, Danny Lee (Krystle) Daniels of Worthington, KY, and Danielle Nicole Daniels of Marion; one sister, with whom he made his home, Lynne E. Montavon of Portsmouth; three grandchildren, Avery, Landyn and Kendyn; his sister-in-law, Debbie Daniels of Stout; and his nieces, nephews, and their families, Michelle (James) McCormick, Michael (Kelly) Montavon, Lance (Margie) Daniels, and Lora Beth (Tyler) Hull.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jon Daniels.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
