Jamie Ann Stevenson, 56, of Portsmouth, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the OSU James Cancer Center in Columbus. She was born on June 26, 1969, in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Judy Ann Clifford Stevenson and Ernest James Stevenson.
A 1987 graduate of Portsmouth High School, Jamie was a Christian. She worked for ten years at Community Action Organization, most recently as a HEAP Aide. A talented craftsperson, she enjoyed crocheting, quilting, sewing, and painting. Jamie was also interested in family history and enjoyed genealogy studies. She was a NASCAR fan – especially Dale Jr., and she followed the Dallas Cowboys and Florida Gators.
Surviving is her son, Ibrahim Musa-Ali Jordan of Portsmouth; siblings, Tammy L. Stevenson of Chapin, SC, and Danny (Melissa) Stevenson of Portsmouth; a half-sister, Sue Stevenson-Reames of West Portsmouth; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 A.M until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
