Jeffrey Isaac Fisher

   Jeffrey Isaac Fisher, 52, of Portsmouth, died at his home on Sunday, October 22, 2023. He was born on October 3, 1971, in Portsmouth, a son of Sharon Kay Lockhart Fisher and the late Jerry Lee Fisher.

  Jeff was an easy-going and very likable person who made friends easily. He enjoyed talking on the CB radio and was an expert in diagnosing and fixing automobile problems. He also liked to go fishing and he was a good cook who enjoyed a good home-cooked meal.

   Surviving is his mother, Sharon Kay Fisher of Portsmouth; his wife, Amanda Marie Swords Fisher, whom he married on November 22, 1997, in Greenup, KY; two children, Jeffrey Isaac Fisher and Cynthia Dawn Marie Fisher, both of Portsmouth; three brothers, Jerry Lee Fisher, Jr., Steven Troy (Tammy) Fisher and Cody Lee Fisher, all of Portsmouth; and a niece and nephew.

   Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Dennis Dawes, minister, officiating.

   The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 A.M. until the service hour.
