Jon Cary Woolery, 68, of Rosemount, a former Hendersonville, TN resident, passed away at home on Friday, May 1, 2026. Cary was born on September 2, 1957, in Portsmouth, a son of the late Margaret Ann Hays Woolery and Charles “Chuck” Herbert Woolery.
Cary was a graduate of Hendersonville High School and a talented musician. He played guitar and sang in bands for many years, but he primarily worked as a realtor in Tennessee. Above all, his children and grandson were his pride and joy.
He is survived by his son, Zech Woolery; daughter, Grayson Woolery; his grandson, Levi Bennett; his aunt and uncle, Debbie and Bill Warnock; and several cousins and their families.
In addition to his parents, Cary was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Herbert Albert Daniel “Chad” Woolery, and his sister, Ann Katherine “Kitty” Woolery.
Graveside services will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in Scioto Burial Park with Rev. Tim Throckmorton officiating.
