Katherine Louise Myers

    Katherine Louise Myers, 61, of West Portsmouth, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020 at the SOMC Hospice Center. She was born December 20, 1959 in Brunswick, GA, a daughter of the late Ronald James and Andrea Fredricka Rowles Akers.

   Katherine was a graduate of Santana High School in Santee, CA and worked in the loan business with Eagle Loan Company and Beneficial Finance Company in Portsmouth.

    Katherine is survived by three sons; Jesse (Joyce) Myers of West Portsmouth, Jeremy (Angie) Myers of Portsmouth and John Paul “JP” Spradlin of Stout; five grandchildren, Jacob and Emma Myers, Cheyenne and Shaye Myers, and Eli Spradlin; and her longtime companion, Rick Cuellar of West Portsmouth.

   In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Akers; and her stepfather, Phillip Kelly "P.K." Akers.

   A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday from 10-11 A.M. at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth. Masks will be required and social distancing will be practiced.
