Marilyn Keaton Obituary

Marilyn “Sue” Keaton, 89, of Pickerington, OH passed away on Saturday March 7, 2026, in Canal Winchester, OH. Sue was born in South Shore, KY on July 15, 1936, to parents Elijah Boutain and Hazel Ruby Clary Lowe.

A 1954 graduate of Portsmouth High School, Sue enjoyed being a homemaker and full-time wife, mother, and grandmother.

On June 12, 1959, she married Milton “Wayne” Keaton in Portsmouth, and the couple enjoyed many wonderful years and trips to the beach together.

In addition to her husband of nearly 67 years, Milton Wayne Keaton, Marilyn is survived by two sons, Michael Wayne Keaton (Debbie) of Noblesville, IN and Timothy Richard  Keaton (Kelly) of Pickerington, OH; eight grandchildren, Bryce Keaton (Sidney), Lindsey Keaton (Lonnie), Hannah Keaton, Mitchell Keaton (Allie), Hayden Baumgardner (Colleen), Madde Johnson (Richard), Avery Baumgardner (Melanie) and Chandler Baumgardner (Sidney); four great-grandchildren, Zyla, Lazarus and Vianna Johnson, and Rhys Baumgardner; sister-in-law, Lana Lowe of Pickerington; and many other brothers and sisters-in law, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Richard F. Lowe.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Dennis Dawes, Minister officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
