Milton Wayne Keaton, 87, of Pickerington, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Canal Winchester Care Center. Wayne was born on August 14, 1938, in Rubyville, a son of the late Winfred and Pauline Newberry Alexander Keaton.
Wayne attended Clay High School and worked as a realtor in both Portsmouth and Columbus. He was a member of the Aurora Masonic Lodge F&AM #48, and was of the Methodist faith.
On June 12, 1959, he married Marilyn Sue Lowe in Portsmouth. She preceded Wayne in death on March 7, 2026. The couple enjoyed over 66 years of marriage and countless trips to the beach together.
Surviving are two sons, Timothy Richard (Kelly) Keaton of Pickerington, and Michael Wayne (Debbie) Keaton of Noblesville, IN; eight grandchildren, Bryce (Sidney) Keaton, Lindsey (Lonnie) Keaton, Hannah Keaton, Mitchell (Allie) Keaton, Hayden (Colleen) Baumgardner, Madde (Richard) Johnson, Avery (Melanie) Baumgardner, and Chandler (Sidney) Baumgardner; great-great-grandchildren, Zyla, Lazarus and Vianna Johnson, and Rhys Baumgardner; and five siblings, Larry N. Keaton and Winfred Keaton, both of Rosemount, Jeffery L. Keaton of Portsmouth, Brenda Joyce Stallard of Charlotte, NC, and Beverly Strickland of Stout.
A Masonic Service will be offered by the Aurora Masonic Lodge at 1 P.M. on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth, immediately followed by funeral services with Dennis Dawes, Minister, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Friday.
