Myra Louise Froe, 79, of Reynoldsburg, a former Portsmouth resident, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Wexner Heritage Village in Bexley. Myra was born in Chicago, IL on February 1, 1945, to the late Dorothy Robinson and Julius Nathaniel Thompson.
A longtime member of Living Faith Temple, Myra had worked as a nurse’s aide at the former Mercy Hospital. She had also been employed at Mitchellace and Senior Employment Services, a division of Mature Services.
Surviving are her six children, CaSonya Froe of Portsmouth, Denita Froe of Whitmire, SC, Carla Froe of Portsmouth, Yvonne Conley of Columbus, Marvetta Froe-Shelton of Reynoldsburg, with whom she made her home, and Eric Anthony Froe of Portsmouth; a brother, Edward Potts of Canton; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Myra was also preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Ann Greene; a grandson, Roy ‘R.J.’ Conley, Jr.; and a nephew, Tyrone Greene.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Living Faith Temple with Bishop Marcus Bendolph officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until the service hour at the church. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park at a later date.
