Oik Lovely Jones

li   Oik Lovely Jones, infant son of Karley Miriah Hawkins and Ronnie Lee Jones, Jr. of Portsmouth, died shortly after birth on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at the OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.

   In addition to his parents, Oik is survived by a sister, Kai Jones, and his brother, Koa Jones, both at home; his maternal grandmother, Amanda Collier of Circleville; paternal grandmother, Joan Jones and fiance’ Ricky Blevins of Portsmouth; paternal grandfather, Ronnie Jones, Sr. of West Union; maternal great-grandmother, Tanya Joyner of Kilgore, TX; maternal great-grandfather, John Collier of Circleville;  paternal great-grandmother, Jewell Gilpin of Portsmouth; uncles, Jansen Collier, Donricko Greene, Adam Greene and Daygon Greene; and aunts, Alexis Jones, Kymber Collier, Dawnrica Greene, Hope Caudill and Alex Caudill.

   Oik was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandmother, Irma Jean Tackett; aunt, Kiley Hawkins; and special cousins, Jayson McGraw, Legend Taylor, Zariah Greene and Zsailynn Conley.

   Private services will be held under the direction of the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
