Phyllis Nadean Hone, 75, of Portsmouth, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice Center. She was born on May 14, 1948, in Lexington, KY, the daughter of late Filmore Lester Jones and Nancy Inez Kegley.
Nadean was a former beautician, dog breeder, and animal lover. A graduate of Rowan County High School, she was a gifted artist and attended Morehead State University where she studied art.
Surviving is her son, Randall Wayne (Amy Witter) Hone of Portsmouth; a brother, Phillip Michael Curtis of Morehead, KY; a sister, Wanda Jones of Clearfield, KY; two grandchildren, Zachary (Erin) Hone and Madison Hone; and one great-grandchild, Carter Hone.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Lee Brown.
There are to be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home.
