Sherry Denise (Roe) Cales

   Sherry Denise Cales, 67, of Panama City, FL, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021, in Panama City. She was born October 7, 1953 in Portsmouth, a daughter of Doris Cooper Roe of Stout and the late Randall Harmey Roe.

    A Portsmouth High School graduate, Sherry was of the Assembly of God faith and was involved in various church activities.

   Her husband, Ralph Garry Cales, preceded her in death on January 10, 2018. The couple was married November 20, 1970 in South Portsmouth, KY.

   Surviving is her mother, Doris Roe, of Stout; two sons, Ralph Garry (Renee) Cales II of Panama City and Randall Norman Cales of Lehigh Acres, FL; a sister, Angela Roe of Stout; and two grandchildren, Isabella Summer Cales and Isaac Stephen Cales.

   Funeral services are to held at 11 AM Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth with the Rev. Larry Hammond officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery.

   The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM and from 10 AM until the funeral hour Wednesday.
