Susan Marie Tidrick

   Susan Marie Tidrick, 62, of Portsmouth, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 at her home. She was born June 30, 1958 in Akron, a daughter of the late Marilyn Louise (Schoettle) Osborne and David Thomas Tidrick.

   Susan was a 1976 graduate of Portsmouth West High School and she had studied nursing at Shawnee State University. She worked at U.S. Bank from 1978-1997 and also at The Counseling Center. Susan also attended Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Portsmouth.

   A beautiful woman with a loving and caring soul, she was special to everyone who met her. Susan was involved with programs in which she truly helped others and she made many lasting friendships through these programs. She also had a great love for animals.

   Surviving is her sister, Connie (Mark) Risner of West Portsmouth; two brothers, David (Lisa) Tidrick of Jackson and Don (Cindy) Tidrick of West Portsmouth; a nephew, Jay Risner of St. Clair Shores, MI; and two nieces, Jessica Risner of St. Clair Shores and Mika Tidrick of West Portsmouth.  Susan will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

   Graveside services will be held at 1 P.M. Friday in Scioto Burial Park with Rev. Bernard Tilley officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
