Tammy Sue Fisher, 50, of Portsmouth, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the SOMC Hospice Center. She was born on January 15, 1974, in Winamac, IN, the daughter of the late Bonnie Jean Rowe, who survives, and the late Roland Junior Jackson.
Tammy worked as a home health care aide at Heritage Point in New Boston and she was a 1992 graduate of Paul Blazer High School. A very caring and giving person, she was a pillar of strength for her entire family even as she bravely battled cancer.
Surviving is her husband of 18 years, Steven Troy Fisher. The couple married on October 2, 2006, in Catlettsburg, KY.
Also surviving is her mother, Bonnie Jean Rowe of Flatwoods, KY; two sisters, Sherry Gibson of Kentucky and Melanie Jackson, Flatwoods, KY; and her mother-in-law, Sharon Kay Fisher of Portsmouth.
There are to be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
