Anna Katherina “Trina” Brushart Clark, 62, of Lancaster, died Monday, June 14, 2021. She was born October 14, 1958 in Ironton, a daughter of Irmintrud “Trudy” Barbara Bauer Brushart of Portsmouth and the late John Jay Brushart.
Trina was a 1976 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Portsmouth and of the Catholic faith. She had worked as an office manager for several businesses in the Columbus area but she mainly enjoyed watching her four grandchildren whenever possible. She actively supported both the Alzheimer’s Association and the Portsmouth Murals and recently arranged for the reprint of her father’s book, Portsmouth: Down Memory Lane, in support of the murals.
Trina is survived by her husband of 44 years, Edward Lawson Clark. The couple was married April 1, 1977 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Portsmouth. In addition to her mother, Trudy, she is also survived by two children, Stephanie Anne Campsey of Athens and Jason Edward Clark of Columbus; a sister, Amy (Jim) Harris of Paducah, KY; four grandchildren, Zavier, Ariahn and Gavin Campsey and Avery Clark; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday from St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Patrick Watikha officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
All are welcome at a luncheon reception immediately following the service at Port City Pub on Chillicothe Street. Please come and share your favorite stories and memories about Trina and help us celebrate her life.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home Portsmouth.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at act.alz.org.
