Wanda June Johnson Browning, 77, of Columbus, a former Portsmouth resident, passed away July 30, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Columbus. Wanda was born in Lochgelly, WV, a daughter of the late Roy Clayton Wickline Sr. and Nellie Virginia Jenkins Wickline. She was a member of the First Calvary Baptist Church and had worked in the food service industry.
Wanda was preceded in death by her first husband, William “Bill” Johnson and her second husband, Allen Browning. Surviving is her daughter, Cheryl Lynn (Randy) Stickler of Columbus and two special children, Aaliyah and Charles Collins. She was also preceded in death by four sisters; Juanita Hamilton, Margaret Sheets, Alma Arthur, Arlene Burgess and three brothers, Harold Wickline (her twin), Emory C. “Buster” Wickline and Roy C. Wickline Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M Wednesday August 5, 2020 at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from noon until the funeral hour at the funeral home. Dennis Dawes, minister will officiate the service.
Due to local health regulations, masks are required and will not be provided.
