Willa Mae Parker Ivory, 91, of Portsmouth, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, with her family at her side. Willa was born on December 3, 1933, in Buena Vista, GA, to the late Charlie and Anna Mae Davis Parker.
A 1952 graduate of Portsmouth High School, she was a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church and a mother of the church.
She married Johnnie Williams in 1964, and he preceded her in death in 1999. In 2002, Willa married Roger B. Ivory, and he passed in 2014.
Surviving is her daughter, Terri D. (Brian) Law of Jacksonville, FL; three brothers, Nelson (Mary) Parker of Cleveland, Jimmy Lee Parker of Portsmouth, and Clarence Marvin (Patricia) Parker of Portsmouth; two sisters, Mildred (Marvin) Sullivan and Donna Green, all of Portsmouth; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families.
Willa was also preceded in death by three children, Randall Williams, Jonathan Williams and Lucinda Lynn Parker; four brothers, Charles Parker, Jr., Willie Parker, David Parker and Clifford Parker; and two sisters, Anna Maude Brown and Evelyn ‘Candy’ King.
Funeral Services will be held at noon on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Pleasant Green Baptist Church with Minister Joe Greene, Jr. officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until the service hour at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
