Roger Lee Livingston, 75, of Portsmouth, passed away peacefully at his home on August 8, 2021. He was born May 1, 1946 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Kenneth Edward and Wanda Lee Malone Livingston.
Roger was a 1964 graduate of Portsmouth High School and he attended Ohio University. He started his early work career with the former Empire Detroit Steel Corporation and his family and friends heard many tales and stories from his work there throughout the years.
He later left his position at the steel mill to work at the family business started by his father, Livingston & Co., Inc., where he knew no strangers and appreciated all the customers he met.
Roger is survived by his wife and best friend of 45 years, Patricia Marlene Royal Livingston, whom he married December 26, 1975, in Rosemount; five children, Robin (Dustin) Miller and Christopher Livingston of Portsmouth, Michael (Kerianne) Livingston of Wheelersburg, Dr. Ryan (Avory) Livingston of Matthews, NC and Tyler Ann (Tyler) Hollar of Wheelersburg; a brother, Larry (Linny) Livingston of Stout; nine grandchildren, Jayna (Scott) Lasswell, Kaitlin Livingston, Alex (Nicole) Livingston, Connor (Courtney) Lasswell, Collin Livingston, Phoenix Book Hollar, Charley Livingston, Katherine Middaugh, Griffen Hollar; six great-grandchildren, Dalton Lasswell, Remington Harris, Sophie Harris, Rowan Caid, Kayden Livingston and Ava Livingston; any many nieces, nephews and their families.
In addition to his parents, Roger was also preceded in death by a nephew, Arron Livingston; a brother-in-law, Thomas Royal; and two special sisters-in-law, Joyce Holland and Ann
Noel.
At his request, there are to be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth.

Roger was so much, to so many. He will be missed by many.
