My prayers are with you and your family. Although I didn't know Courtney well, I participated in many of the same extra curricular activities as a member of the PWHS class of 2001. I always had great respect for Courney. She was truly a force to be reckoned with. Just know that through her courageous fight and example, another 28 year old is vowing not to take her life and opportunites for granted. Our time here is precious. May Courtney rest in peace in the arms of the Lord.

I did not know your daughter personally, but I heard of her battle through a mutual friend. I lost my mother and sister to this hateful disease. I also had a very dear friend who also suffered from ovarian cancer. I extend to you my deepest sympathy. I know that there are no words that can ease your pain. Your loss is beyond comprehension. Like me, I hope that you can find some small peace in knowing that at last she has been set free. God Bless You.

I will miss Court dearly and remember every conversation I have had with her and cherish it. It was comical to see two friends with a deep passion for their loyal pride to Pirates and Trojans. There will never be another one like her.

Blessings and hope for the Clifford Family. May you find comfort in knowing that her meaningful journey is through, and that she has a greater victory beyond this life. Courtney spread allot of "indelible ink" amongst those who knew here, as well as others who did not. Perhaps we can take some of that "ink" and continue to share that goodness with all of those in life that we touch. Celebrate her life in how she makes all of us better people.

Peace, David Alexander

The news of Courtney's passing is profoundly sad, and like everyone she ever met, I will miss her deeply. I had the honor of meeting Courtney in 2006 at the first Livestrong Summit in Austin, TX. Court & the rest of our crew made the most of the short trip and have been inseprable (electronically, at least!) ever since. Hanging out with Court, the gang & getting to meet "Mama Court" at the 2008 Summit in Columbus and being driven around by Court in the "Summit Wagon" was the trip of a lifetime. I can't say enough about our amazing Courtney, but would like to let her wonderful family know they are in my thoughts & prayers. Thank you for sharing your daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin & friend with us. She changed the world & those of us who were blessed enough to have had the honor of being her friend will carry her memory with us forever. Court, we will Livestrong just as you showed us how to. Love to all,

Nikki

Curt, Mary and family. My heart is hurting for you as I know what you are going through. No one should ever loose a child, but we don't always have that option, and sometimes the Lord decides he needs them more than we do. If you ever need an ear to listen, or someone who understands what you are feeling, call me, I will always be avalible.
