William David Bailey

William David Bailey, 51, of Portsmouth, passed away Thursday, November 02, 2017 in Springfield. He was born August 4, 1966 in Portsmouth, a son of the late William Bailey and Juanita Mae Wickline Hamilton.

   David was a carpenter and a 1985 PHS and SCJVS graduate. He was also a Navy veteran.

   Surviving are three children, Eric David Bailey of Morehead, KY, Misty Carr of Portsmouth and Sarah Bailey of Beavercreek; a brother, Scott (Helen) Bailey of Portsmouth; a half-sister, Robin White of Chattanooga, TN; a special cousin, Cheryl (Randy) Stickler of Columbus; an aunt, Wanda Browning of Columbus; his girlfriend, Laura Nelson of Portsmouth; seven grandchildren; and several cousins and nieces.

   Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. (Noon) Monday at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Reverend Greg Carter officiating.

   The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour.
